Praise for Bach Flowers in Contemporary Practice Part One
I have loved diving deep into the Bach essences. I did a level one with the Nelson's company and it was so different. It is not even comparable to what you’re offering.

This course is allowing us to dig deeply and understand each of the flowers and each of the remedies in a way that's just really, really important to this work.

When I found you I was so excited like, “Oh my gosh, there's other people out there”. I couldn't believe it, even though I kind of knew. So thank you. Thank you all.
Heather M.
I've been working with flower essences for 39 years. I have 30-40 books and I've learned through reading the descriptions from different authors. I’ve also done some training including Bach.

What I was missing was the relationship with the plants. Now I'm ready to have that relationship go deeper with the flower essences.

I've had a relationship with them all these years, but now I feel like they're friends and they're living beings through this course — like I can really lean on them for myself and other people. So I get chills just talking about it. So thank you. I can't wait for the next one.

My journey began with the Bach essences and I've done their training.

I found this class added so much depth and aliveness. It illuminated these essences in a far deeper way than even what I learned at the Bach Level III training. It's really brought it into the present, and I feel much more attuned with the plants now.

I hope that you'll do the rest of remedies like this because it's been a game-changer for me. You have created something special and drew us all in. And it's just been amazing for me.

The Bach Flower Learning Program (BFLP) is a Free self-study course by Julian Barnard of Healing Herbs, Ltd., who has graciously allowed us to host it on our site and use it as foundational training. This course, Bach Flowers in Contemporary Practice, is a live cohort that will guide students through select lessons of the BFLP and then discuss and build on those teachings with information gained from decades of clinical experience.
No, we're not connected to the Bach Centre in any way.
Yes. Due to regulatory restriction of the term "remedy" for products in the United States, "essence" is generally used instead. The exception is the brand name "Bach Original Flower Remedies" for the product produced by Nelson's. Therefore we tend to use both "Bach flower essence" and "Bach flower remedy" interchangeably, so that it's understood we're talking about both.. Whatever the term used, these refer to the same type of substance, regardless of brand.
Bach Flowers in Contemporary Practice Part One is available in our course catalog. Part Three and Four will cover the remainder and will most likely be taught in late 2024 and in 2025.

Yes! Julian Barnard's Bach Flower Learning Program is and will always be Free on our site and you can access it any time, regardless if you purchase this course.
We offer a certificate of completion for taking this course, but we don't offer a "Bach Flower Practitioner Program" at this time. We will soon be offering the FES Practitioner Certification program, which does include the Bach flower essences. Note that the practice of Flower Essence Therapy is not a licensed profession in the United States, so the title you use in your practice is up to you and depends on your overall training and what feels authentically correct.
The course price is for this course only, which is part two of a four-part series.
Once you've purchased the course, open the course and you'll find all session recordings available on-demand. These sessions were recorded in the Spring of 2024 with a cohort of students whose contributions to the discussions were an invaluable part of the experience. As a group, we felt our understanding of the essences grow and deepen beautifully within this safe and sacred container. By watching these recordings, you become part of this container as well, even if the transmission is now asynchronous. We know you'll find the conversations as rich as we did, and if you have questions you can reach out any time.
They don't expire — you get lifetime access to the recordings and course materials for as long as The School for Flower Essence Studies is hosting this course.
